What is difference between Hosting and Domain server?

Hosting is the server that store your web page.

(Just like a house that host you)

Domain server stores your web address (eg google.com, yahoo.com)

(Just like you home address that point to where you stay)

So when someone type in your web address, eg yahoo.com, they will lookup at the domain server to find where your site is hosted. Only after they can find your site name in the domain server, you web page will be displayed.
